There were 696 sales recorded in January, a 42% increase on the 490 sales recorded for the same month in 2025. With both December and January considered half months, their combined total at over 1,500 sales demonstrates continued momentum into 2026.

Some highlights:

  • Almost 400 deposits are carried into February, a solid headstart for the first full month of trading for the year.
  • Available Titled lots have seen a 31% reduction since peaking in April 2025. There were 223 titled sales this month and 1,723 remain on pricelists.
  • Total lots available ticked under 5,500 for the first time since 2024.
  • Geelong saw the smallest reduction in sales relative to December at just 1% and maintains an average of 5.2 monthly sales per trading project.
