December Results Snapshot

Owing to the traditional shutdown across the holiday period just 425 sales were recorded across Melbourne and Geelong in the month of December a decrease of 39% from that recorded in November

The Ladder (Gross Sales)

Much like in recent months, the North and West regions have been home to the highest performing estates. This month it was the West that came out on top, containing 4 of the top 5 selling projects.

Sales by Region

The North, South East and Greater Geelong regions reporting figures close to half of what they were in November. The West took less of a hit with a 25% drop. The median sold price increased marginally in all regions with the exception of Greater Geelong, which experienced a fall of 5%.

Estate Market Share by Region

The West was a clear standout in sales per estate, with each of its top 5 performers achieving 10 or more sales in December. In contrast only 3 estates across all other regions managed the same feat.
