A total of 603 sales were recorded across Melbourne and Geelong in April, a 3% decrease compared to the number recorded in March. Sales volumes have remained consistent through the first 4 months of the year consistently hovering around 600 sales per month.

Strong sales volumes in the North were driven by the region being home to the top 3 selling projects which all recorded 20 or more sales in April.
Sales by Region
In a notable departure from the usual trend, the North region took the lead in April, surpassing the West as the top selling region. With a total of 241 recorded sales, the North region claimed the coveted top spot for the first time in a while, bringing a welcome change to the sales landscape.
Estate Market Share by Region
In April, eight estates recorded 15 or more sales with four of these estates located in the North Region and three in the West Region. The South East Region saw two estates record more than 10 sales whilst only one estate in Greater Geelong was able to achieve this mark.
